What started as a CMDB solution is now a fully-fledged ITIL service management tool supporting all major ITIL disciplines. With an application that is 100% PHP, the company uses SourceGuardian to encode all their sources. They have also integrated it into their source code control/release system so that it invokes Source Guardian from the command-line during the release build.

 

Tech Inventions has used Source Guardian (and formally PHPShield) since PHP 4, and deploy their software on Windows, Solaris and Linux. easyCMDB is installed on-premise, plus they offer a SaaS solution.
